Submission for current seventh sanctum competition [link]

Vampire done entirely on a wacom tablet, the description i got was

"This cunning female vampire has droopy white eyes with pupils that look like skulls. Her red hair is more a set of spines than anything else. She is tall and has a wasp-waisted build. Her white skin is like a reptile's skin. She has claw-like fingernails. Her feet have claw-like nails. She can turn into a swarm of locusts. She can absorb flesh and blood from others to heal her body. She has the standard vampiric disabilities. She feeds on fear, not blood."

She has been eating someone she scared to death hence the blood on her right hand and there is a locust coming out of the left. The eyes were skulls but that seems to have been lost in reducing the resolution to a more screen friendly size.

Now that the contest is over, I can comment - and remember we've got a new one already!

Odd, monstrous - and definitely a good entry! Handled the descriptions well, and I like the menacing feel to it. The dress gives her (appropriately) a rather serpentine feel.
